본문 First, let’s have a brief look at the contents of this presentation. We’re going to start with the background knowledge of India, Followed by 4P mix and SWOT Analysis. And in the end, we will tell you about the prospect and what Hyundai might need to do in the future.
First of all, let’s have a look at some economic rates of India. Since we didn’t think that it is necessary to show all data, We picked those that we believed are the most important ones. The estimated GDP level in 2012 is at 1.9693 trillion. And the GDP Growth Rate, which I think is the most important factor, is at 7.8% (estimated), which ranks 13th overall. But putting aside some small-sized countries, India is right behind China as the second fastest growing country in the world As far as the GDP Growth Rate is concerned. The GDP Per Capita of 2012 is 1,600$, which is ranked at around 120~130 around the world depending on IMF, WB etc. And as I already mentioned, India has the second largest population in the world with 1.4 billion.
And let’s have a look at the real GDP Growth Rate of India versus the World. Until 2004, India had a slow growing closed economy. But since then, India has turned into a more open, fast growing economy and The real GDP growth rate, compared to the rest of the world, has been much higher. Even at times of economic crisis in 2008, India was able to manage it quite well and The growth rate has been at a very high level.
